This Privacy Policy describes how the MusicBox app handles your information. MusicBox is an open-source offline music player application developed by Farjan Ahmmed. The project is committed to transparency and user privacy.

1. Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. MusicBox is an offline-first application. It operates entirely on your device and does not transmit any user data, usage statistics, or crash reports to external servers.

2. Permissions

To function correctly as a music player, the app requires specific system permissions. These are used strictly for local functionality:

Storage Access Required to scan your device for audio files (MP3, WAV, etc.) to populate your library. We do not access photos, videos, or documents.
Notifications Used to show media playback controls (Play, Pause, Skip) in the notification shade, allowing background control.

3. Internet Usage & Ads

MusicBox is designed to work entirely offline. It does not require an active internet connection to function. The app contains no advertisements and does not integrate with any third-party ad networks or analytics services.

4. Children's Privacy

Our app is suitable for users aged 13 and above. Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no risk of gathering information from children. We adhere to all standard privacy protections for minor users.
